About us
Founded in 2016 as a private consultancy collaborating with leading global banking companies, Plumery became a registered brand in 2017 and evolved into an independent product company in 2022. Backed by renowned venture capital firms, Plumery now offers a modern, cloud-native digital banking experience platform.
Headquartered in the Netherlands, we operate with a diverse team that embodies a unique combination of seasoned expertise and vibrant innovation. This blend has been cultivated through years of experience at start-ups, scale-ups, and established financial institutions, and most notably at globally leading financial technology companies, where we were instrumental in creating disruptive digital banking solutions and platforms that now serve over 300 banks globally.
Recognizing the significant flaws in the construction of digital banking experiences, we, as founders, established our business with a clear mission. Traditional banks were often constrained to choose between a 'buy or build' approach, adhering to a single paradigm. However, we believe that both approaches have their merits. By openly acknowledging the advantages and limitations of each method, we can make informed decisions and select the most suitable approach.
Operating across Amsterdam, Lisbon, and Vilnius, we aim to empower financial institutions worldwide, regardless of size, to craft distinctive, contemporary, and customer-centric mobile and web experiences. Our digital banking experience platform, Digital Success Fabric, provides financial institutions with the foundation for success beyond fast time-to-market by expediting the development of their digital front ends while significantly cutting costs compared to in-house initiatives or solutions with high total cost of ownership (TCO).

With over 20 years of experience, he has held executive roles at Mambu and Backbase, driving growth and delivering scalable solutions. At Plumery, Ben leads innovation and ensures operational excellence.

Alex Terman
Head of Engineering, BankingAlex is an experienced software leader with expertise in managing diverse teams across telecoms, finance, and startups since 2003. With a people-first approach, he establishes efficient cross-functional teams and collaborates hands-on with engineers to tackle complex challenges.

Head of Engineering, PlatformMax brings 20 years of industry experience, with expertise in infrastructure engineering and leadership roles.
